  • Online process

You can also opt for a duplicate PAN card online apply with the help of the following steps –

Step 1 – Visit the official website of NSDL and click on ‘Apply Online’.

Step 2 – Next, select ‘Application Type’ and click on the ‘Changes or correction in existing PAN card’ or ‘Reprint of PAN Card’ option from the drop-down menu.

Step 3 – Fill up the application form with necessary information as required, such as contact number, email address, etc.

Step 4 – A token number will be issued, which will also be sent to your registered email ID.

Step 5 – Moving on, you are required to submit essential KYC documents for identity verification which can be done through e-KYC, linking your PAN with Aadhar, manually sending self-attested photocopies of the required documents via post to a registered NSDL centre.

Step 6 – Next, you can choose between a physical copy of your PAN card or an e-PAN after which you need to provide essential information under the ‘Contact and other details’ and ‘Document details’ section.

Step 7 – Next, you will be redirected to a payment gateway where you will need to pay the required duplicate PAN processing fees. Once the payment is completed, you will be given a 15-digit acknowledgement number to check the status of your application.
